FAQs

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes.  They have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. “A diamond is a mineral consisting essentially of pure carbon crystallized in the isometric system” per the FTC.
We use Cultured as a gemological 5th “C”.  Of the original 4 C’s of Carat Weight, Color, Clarity and Cut only the cut was controlled by human. Today we add the 5th C of Cultured which is also controlled by human.  Our Diamonds our graded using the exact same four C’s as mined diamonds.

How are lab grown diamonds different from mined diamonds?

Lab grown diamonds are real genuine diamonds that are made in proprietary high-tech laboratories, where we replicate either HPHT (high pressure high temperature) or CVD (chemical vapor deposition) methods to grow fine gem quality diamonds from less than one point to 5 carats finished weights.  Quite simply the only difference is origin, as our diamonds grown super terrestrial (above ground) rather than mined sub terrestrial (below ground).

How do you disclose that your diamonds are lab grown?

All of our diamonds are carefully handled in completely separate facilities and chains of command from conception to delivery.  After each diamond is grown, cut and polished all diamonds 1/2ct and larger are sent to world class gemological laboratories to be evaluated for the 5 C’s.  The words LAB GROWN are laser engraved on the girdle followed by the laboratory certificate number.  All diamonds over 1/5th carat are laser engraved with the words LAB GROWN.

What is my ring size?

To determine the correct ring size, get a thin string or pieces of floss and follow these steps:

  1. Measure Circumference: Use a string, wrap it snugly around the ring finger, mark the circumference, and measure the circumference length in millimeters (mm).

  2. Use the Chart: Match your millimeter measurement to the closest size on the list below.

    • Example: A circumference of 54.3 mm corresponds to a size 7.

  3. Size Adjustment: If your measurement is between sizes, choose the next larger half-size for a comfortable fit.

Always double-check sizing for accuracy and comfort. Here is a list matching ring sizes to their respective circumference in millimeters (mm):

  • Size 1: 39.1 mm

  • Size 1.5: 40.4 mm

  • Size 2: 41.6 mm

  • Size 2.5: 42.9 mm

  • Size 3: 44.0 mm

  • Size 3.5: 45.2 mm

  • Size 4: 46.5 mm

  • Size 4.5: 47.8 mm

  • Size 5: 49.0 mm

  • Size 5.5: 50.3 mm

  • Size 6: 51.7 mm

  • Size 6.5: 53.1 mm

  • Size 7: 54.3 mm

  • Size 7.5: 55.6 mm

  • Size 8: 57.2 mm

  • Size 8.5: 58.4 mm

  • Size 9: 59.7 mm

  • Size 9.5: 60.9 mm

  • Size 10: 62.2 mm

  • Size 10.5: 63.5 mm

  • Size 11: 64.7 mm

  • Size 11.5: 66.0 mm

  • Size 12: 67.2 mm

  • Size 12.5: 68.5 mm

  • Size 13: 69.7 mm

  • Size 13.5: 71.0 mm

What is the diamond color and clarity?

You will see color and clarity in our product descriptions, for example:

  • Color: DEF

  • Clarity: VS1-2

"Color: DEF" refers to diamonds that are considered colorless, with D being the highest (most colorless) grade, followed by E and F. These are highly sought after due to their near-total absence of color!

"Clarity: VS1-2" indicates that the diamond has "Very Slightly Included" (VS) inclusions, which are minor and typically not visible to the naked eye. VS1 diamonds have fewer or smaller inclusions compared to VS2. This means we sell high-quality diamonds with minimal imperfections!
